Help Us To Help You

The team here at the Sidings Medical Practice are here to help you but there are occasions where you may be able to help yourself.  Our staff are trained to ask a series of questions to direct you to the best available care. For things like coughs, colds, sore throats you could be better seeking the advice of a pharmacist at your local chemist who may be able to offer over the counter medication. This could also result in you being able to deal with your symptoms faster.

It is worthy of note that cold symptoms can take up to a week or so to ease.

Staffing Update

We have drastically improved access to appointments at the Sidings Medical Practice. We have managed to do this by using a number of regular Locum Doctors and Advanced Nurse Practitioners. Whilst it is not always possible, this does enable us to increase your chances of being able to be seen by the same Clinician each visit, which in turn ensures continuity of care.

All staff at the Sidings Medical Practice work extremely hard to ensure that we give the best possible care to our patients. If you feel that this is not the case or you have an issue please speak to a member of our friendly team so that we may work toward resolving the matter for you.

Access to appointments

Ease of access to appointments has never been better. We also now have on line pre bookable appointments available. These can be done by setting up an online account or by using the NHS APP which can be downloaded for free onto your smartphone. Please ask a member of the team for details.

Flu Immunisation

Don`t forget to book yourselves in for your flu immunisation to ensure you protect yourself and those around you.

Staff Training

On the third Thursday of every month between 1pm and 4pm we have limited access to the surgery due to important staff training.

The next training dates are as follows:

Thursday 19th December 2019

Thursday 16th January 2020

Thursday 20th February 2020

Thursday 19th March 2020

Patient Christmas Jumper Coffee Morning

On Friday 13th December 10am – 12pm we are holding a patient Christmas Jumper coffee morning. We are going to be joined by the Boston Stump Choir singing Carols. Please feel free to come and join us for a tea/coffee and a mince pie and join in the festivities. We are holding a raffle too so why not come along and try your luck.
