The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has today published its latest inspection report for The Sidings Medical Practice, following visits in February and April.
We are pleased the CQC has recognised the significant improvements made since February. The practice’s overall rating has moved from Inadequate to Requires Improvement, with clear progress in the important area of Safe.
We accept the findings of the report in full and apologise for the shortcomings identified earlier this year. Importantly, the immediate actions taken by the team were acknowledged by the CQC during their April visit, showing that the steps we have put in place are making a difference.
We are proud of the dedication of our staff and grateful for the support of our patients. While we know there is more to do, we are confident we are on the right path and committed to demonstrating further progress at the next inspection, with the goal of achieving a Good rating.
